I'm hoping for this weekend. I've got the ESC set where I need it. I lined up the tail feathers with a little shimming. I secured the wires inside with a little hot melt glue, I measured the throws and they seem -OK-. I've got them on dual rates... and the surfaces don't move as far as the recommended throws, but as I get better I'll move the clevises out a hole. Its been windy here so I'm hoping for a calmer weekend. I need to find out where to fly. Old Settler's park is a grass field... I might try visiting one of the larger asphalt fields here in town... not sure how they receive electric fliers, though. I guess I'll drive the extra 45 mins and try to find out. I'm excited already.

I got the pnp. It is simpler than the cup to put together. I got it in December and haven't flown it yet because I don't have my dx6i yet... Im not taking any intereference chances ...

I couldn't wait to wake up this morning! Man this balsa is light! Almost too light... My first flight was awesome, despite having the ailerons backwards I managed to rudder it in nicely. This thing taxies like nothing else! I love it. My second flight wasn't so great. I started off by doing some rolls (not the best roll rate) and some loops. The mini will practically do any maneuver ;D Anyways...I hit a big gust of wind at full speed somewhat close to the ground and lost control. The thing hit the ground going about Mach 6 ;D. I ran over to it and it was literally "landed" three feet from the river! Surprisingly it only suffered minor damage. The cowl is toast as well as the motor mount. But never fear, for 05prostock is here! I'll have her up and flying again when my dx6i gets here ;D Other than that I had a great flying day. I took some flycamone vids of the area on my modded easystar. Man does that thing cook! I think I may need to upgrade though. I can't compete with clipper's HD vids anymore! ;D ;D ;D So far an awesome/durable plane.

05. You did well considering the aileron problem. I have my push rods in the middle hole on the aileron and my rates set at 100% on my futaba. The roll rate is not lightening fast but fast enough for me. I must get my MP airborne next week

Drat. It was raining and windy Saturday. Sunday was too windy, but I did make it out to the field to chew the fat with some guys.
