Going back to the 10 x 8 Parkzone P51 prop. Has anybody tried this on a stock SC LP in place of the stock 9x6?

Believe it may be the same prop that came standard on the original SC. If so, is the same as the one they suggest for using with floats on the LP. Would work fine, but not for WOT flight.

I've just noticed that the 10x8 prop comes with the SC LP float kit as you point out. So I reckon it must be OK to use as far as HZ is concerned. I've got a new PZ 10X8 P51 prop so I'll put it on and go flying and see what happens. My mods are adding a little weight to my SC LP so a bit more thrust would always be welcome.

Using the 10x8 prop with 3S batteries will reduce the lifespan of your motor, and if you use WOT for too long you'll cook the ESC too.
I had to get a bit more thrust from my cub after the upgrades, so I went to a master airscrew 9x7 prop, that works a treat! The only problem is that it doesn't fit the shaft, and it doesn't come with any shaft adapters. I buy the props from hobbyking, and also order some of the $1 APC style 9x6 props that DO come with the shaft adapters. You just drill out a recess in the front of the 9x7 prop for the shaft adapter to fit in to and then it's good to go!

put a pkz p-51 prop on a brushless t-28 motor and holding the fuse steady I watched the prop flex out of shape looked like a }( ...........-> = direction of pull. }=engine cowl. Freaked me out. APCE was the cure.
