9.6v nimh in place of 10.8vnimh

this isnt a super cub specific question...but I figured someone here would know.

I have a parkzone application that calls for a 10.8v nimh battery.

Someone offers me 4 brand new name brand 9.6v nimh batteries and a charger (not el cheapo either) for 30.

What am I looking at in terms of performance loss? thanks

If the plane requires a 9 cell then going down to a 8 is probably going to be disappointing. Also the 8 cell may change your Cog so if you have to add weight to get the correct CG back then the performance will be real bad.
