the biggest loser when it comes to elecs. has another question...
does the mAh matter on a 12 amp ESC that runs 2-3S lipos? i was thinking a 1500 but im not sure. the motor would run 1060 kv at 7.5 amps/60 seconds

No-mAh is just quantity, not voltage or C-rating.
That motor draw looks to be well under the 12A rating.

i was looking at a mini telemaster as a christmas gift for a good buddy. i would just power it with the recommended AXI 2208/34 and the Jeti ECO 12 amp ESC. it says it runs up to 4 servos (good if i mod in some ailerons) on 2-3s lipo. the motor itself pulls 7.5A, so i think that 3S 20C 1300-1500 mah will work fine, correct?

the 1500mah 20c is good for 30amps, so more then enough there. they should be pretty lite too so you should get some great flight time.

man duck you beat me right when i was modding that last post for furthur clarification.
thanks for the input. im thinking of going 20C 1300-1500 3S zippies from HC. i have been really happy with the 2200s i bought earlier this year
