Not an original idea - adapted from somewhere. To helps grip the Deans connectors, I use hot melt (glue gun) over the heat shrink and while still very soft, I use the pliers to make a grip pattern. The surplus can be easily trimmed and the whole lot can be removed if you want to salvage the connector. With Finger Grip Pliers give the pattern regards retiredbri

Yes - I searched the site and couldn't find any others. They had this review directly underneath:
Not been able to find the ones with grips anywhere.
The other thing about the hot melt grips in the picture is that it makes the connector effectively longer to spread the finger pressure and to spread the load onto the wires and heatshrink.
Maybe you can't have grips that work on such with such a small connector.

I just tsed my Dremel with a cutoff wheel and put 3 grooves in the side of each connector. Much easier to deal with.........

Hi fotowiz
I tried this but the plastic on the plug is only half the width of my thumb and forefinger. As I said, with the hot melt extensions, they fit my fingers better.
Happy Xmas retiredbri
