I removed the ACT wires when I removed the Rx to solder a dry joint on the elevator servo (red pin). Before this, the plane had a mind of its own - stalls and loops as I came into land. Glad to say, all is now fixed. I did not refit the ACT wires but now want to "experience" just what ACT does (curiosity). Could someone tell me which way round (red to the left or black to the left) on the top of the Rx 4 pins, looking towards the front and which sensor is connected to the left pair of the pins and which to the right pair.

Hey there RetiredBri....I do realize this thread is about 5 months old - but us newbies tend to read EVERY thread and I've seen this ? asked a few times so here goes.....I have a BRAND NEW stock SC and the wiring is as follows....When looking at plane (if holding aircraft in left hand so the nose is pointing up), the NOSE sensor ACT wire is plugged into the RIGHT socket of RX, and the TAIL sensor ACT wire is plugged into the LEFT socket of RX......When looking at the color of wires while plane is in same position, it is BLACK/RED-RED/BLACK....which is, BLACK/RED of tail sensor ACT wire plugged into the LEFT socket, and RED/BLACK of nose sensor ACT wire plugged into the RIGHT socket.... Hope this helps....

Thanks
I've long since moved on from the stock 27MHz to 2.4GHz because the stock system had so many glitches that I spent a fortune on buying new bits trying to solve "insoluble problems"
Good flying
