hey ellis here's some gear that might work well. i would completely remove the battery box, replace it with ply (using the original frame and door like I did) and then cut this with a hacksaw to form it around the bat box frame. i would then just affix this with some 5 min epoxy. it should hold really strong and not bend

I got the AC adapter ( if that's what you're referring to ) so I can charge at my work table, and always have fresh batteries ready to go.

We have so much wind here that you can't plan ahead to go fly, you just have to be ready.

I think fly is right on about not running your vehicle when charging off the battery terminals.
