Hello all: very simple question, can someone please tell me what size lipo battery I can safely use in my Super Cub with the stock ESC and Motor. For example right now I am using... a
7.4v 1200mAh pack that I had in my Megatech Horse Fly Heli.
Is this the best that I can do? or is there something better that wont burn out my ESC or Motor.

you can use a 3 cell 11.3 volt battery, but its best to get a smaller prop like a 10x6 or 10x5 instead of the stock 10x8, this will reduce the load on the motor. just remember to remove the jumper off the esc to lower the voltage cut off for lipos.
you can use as many mah battery as you can fit as long as its not too much heavier then the stock battery.

Hi There
A 3's 11.1 volt.1300mAh 20c lipo will fit the SC with out moding the batt box.Should also drop prop size to 10 X 6 DD to keep amp pull about the same as stock & pull the jumper on the ESC. They use higher mAh than that ( more flight time )but must do moding on batt batt box. after time these will take motor out but for $11.00 new for the much better performace it gives it's worth it . Just MHO. Jerry

Thanks In advance Hi gemster 18 The jumper is on the stock RECEIVER/ESC in the area where the ACT sensors plug in , you don't have to take anything apart to get to it it's right out in the open but is quite small .
