I have reservations about my warbird piloting skills. I haven't had the best luck so far. I may buddy cord with the guy I bought it from for the first flight. I believe I can fly it no problem but why take the chance if it is that simple to buddy up with a pro....

I understand but don't beat yourself up too bad on the P-51 crash. Just keep the airspeed up and keep the throws on a low rate and I'll bet she flies great.

Go for it, I'm sure you can do it. Although it is not a bad idea to do the cord thing. Especially if it's the person you bought it from. He will know all the do's & don't's of the airplane. Good luck & please keep us informed. NOW GO FLY THAT THING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I am not sure how it flies yet. I am sure it will most likely not be this year. Too many things to do before it snows. I have 3 others that will fly/maiden before this one hits the sky. I want it to be perfect for maiden....not just looked over quick and sloppy.
I will get flying footage when it happens and put it here first.

Wow! I too am a WWII fanatic when it comes to planes and would love to have this in my hangar as well. You can't beat a deal like that and for that price, I would be a happy new owner too! Looking forward to more videos and pics as well. Safe flying, Mr. M!
