I was passing a baseball field tonight on the way home from a tennis match (inside), and it seemed that the entire baseball field was well lighted and noone was there. The very tall lampposts look like thay would definitely try to jump in front of the sc, but has anyone flown without lights at night because the lighting seemed good enough? Thoughts?
It may be MUCH smaller than it seems too. But if not, there might even be a smooth runway. Something I'm not ery familar with.

Hey Mike, i've actually flown at night with a full moon out and clear sky before. It's much harder than it seems to be but definetly a thrill. You should practice very low, very slow flight with tight circles first and you should be fine.

Thanks, I might really try the full moon, boy sometimes it seems like daylight. But I bet it really isn't as bright as it seems.
The other time it seems bright at night is right after a snow storm with everything so white. I bet a snowy full moon would be great. But of course it'd be cold out so the battery wouldn't last as long.
Next full moon is May 20th. I'll see if I'm really as brave as I think.
