Yes, fly, my motor may have burned up because I used too strong a prop just like you warned me about.
But I landed just fine in the grass and on the next takeoff I didn't make it, grass too rough even for my 3" wheels so prop hit, didn't break, and I shut down the motor. When I tried the takeoff again, NOTHING! So maybe the motor was shaken up in the aborted takeoff? No other damage. I guess my question is, to be sure it's the motor, can I connect the motor directly to the battery? Or would that destroy something? All stock except 2400mah 3s lipo. The servo's work fine still and I charged the battery and tried it again, still NOTHING!
Oh well, I hope these get here soon: TP2409-18 Brushless Outrunner TowerPro2409-1 TP18A_BESC TowerPro n18A Brushless Speed Cont AM1033A Deans Style T-Connectors 10 Pairs from hobbycity ordered 3/29, I've received an other 3/29 order already and it's marked as shipped so soon hopefully. Then I'll do the brushless mods I've read alot about here. Mike
