Simple and cheap camera and mount

Here is how I mounted my camera to the SC without adding unnessessary weight. I bought the 5in1 off overstock for 30.00 and used velcro for this mod. Make sure to check the balance of the SC whenever you add anything or take things off. A properly balanced SC flies perfectly every time. I made sure to mount it so the battery door opens freely and I can still use the buttons on the camera. I also use velcro for the battery door itself to keep it closed. I would add a piece to it for saftey reasons even if yours has the latch on it still. They seem to want to come open in flight. Here are the pics. They can do better job of showing you what I did.

I had issues trying to get mine to work yesterday. I think you need to charge it untilo you use it. It was only 4 deg.F too so it may have had an effect on it.

Just wondering if you ever got this camera going and if so what the quality was like. I was thinking of bidding on a similar looking one on ebay but wasn't sure if it was worth it.

Well I am still having issues with mine so far. When I put my 2gig SD card in it, it shuts off and will not power back up until I remove the card. I am going t6o buy another card tonight and see if it is the problem. It does it with both of my 2gig cards. I will keep you posted.

mrmugen. are you sure your camera will handle a 2 gig card? On mine it doesn't list a max size but references a 64 mb card.

mrmugen, did you try to reformat the card? im sure it only supports fat 16/32 file system. also it might help clear out any problems. also check the locking slide on the side for the read/wright lock.
