Gotta love fast shipping, (3 weeks fron Hong Kong is pretty good, consdiering it took nearly 2 weeks to process) And no duty or tax either ;D

Let me know what you think of that charger after you've used it awhile. Got anything besides the PZ stuff to compare it to?

Let me know what you think of that charger after you've used it awhile. Got anything besides the PZ stuff to compare it to? So far, The charger works good, Charged three packs on it tonight. Its fan cooled, and the fan quits when the charge cycle quits. Its sort of an audible tell tale. The indicator lights are failrly self explanitory. Red means chargingm green means charged on that cell. Initial thoughts: Good solid metal case, balance connectors for 2 x 2S, 1 x 3S, and 1 x 4S Lipos. Good heavy wires on the input connector,( which can be replaced with a standard connector from circuit city or wherever). 7.5 amp fuse on the input. Shows voltages on each cell. I noticed mine shows low on cell2, for all my packs, but they are all relatively new packs. Time will tell, but i'll keep everyone informed. This is my first charger other than my PZ/ HZ units, and the e-flite unit that cam with my heli The eflite unit was the one I was using to charge all my lipos, (all 2 of them) as I hadn't had a chance to hook the HZ chargers up to a battery, I was always on the wall wart

I like the way you kept part of the gearbox to mount it to Thats the eaiest way to maintain the exact thrust angles of the stock plane. The firewall and gearbox both have angles built in. Using one with out the other forces you to adjust things to compensate. I may still have to adjust the angles, but at least I have a good starting point.

Hey Duck, just wondering, how did you bond the wooden motor mount to the gearbox, and have you had to adjust your thrust angles?
cheers

I haven't changed any angles yet.
After I removed all the parts from the stock gearbox, I attached the motor mount to the gearbox with screws from the backside of the gearbox
I used the 2 motor screw holes and drilled 2 more holes lower down.
