Well I have not flown in quite some time due to wheather, SO....
I made me some ski's for the winter. I played with different mounting options.
ended up with this. just some plexi glass I had kicking around, cut rectangles out (5"L x 2-1/2"W) formed them, then heated with my heat gun and bent.
You can leave the wheels on, just wrap a rubber band from one side to the other to hold them on.
Nice rugged mount, worked well.
I buffed the bottom to make sure nothing stuck threw.
Then I painted them black. I then then threw a quick clear coat on them, then did the bottoms in clear nail polish to make them nice and slippery.
Not to bad I do not think. I will have to get pics of them mounted.
