www.youtube.com/watch?v=7HGqbrPVoD0After a couple flights it seemed like a good idea to stick a GoPro on the bottom of the plane. After some trial and error I got the COG set pretty well. Flies great.  The wind had picked up during the 2nd flight and the landing wasn't exactly smooth. Better than crashing I guess. I'll add some more interesting videos to this thread as I take them. Thanks for watching.

That's it. The photo is looking west at the Georgia/Alabama border near Hamilton, Georgia.
This area is great in the spring when everything turns green, which should happen in the next few weeks. The people are generally nice too, despite what Jeremy Clarkson would have you believe. ;D
I did some landing practice last night without the camera. The lack of weight makes a HUGE difference. It glides much better without it.
I'm going to try to get some video this weekend. The plan is to take an hour or two of video and just keep the best parts, but I might upload some short clips.

We were both a little worried about having a collision, so I stayed up high. Look for it in the end of the video. And look at the pollen in the water! |
